Law was not my childhood dream, but life had different plans. As I stepped into the world of legal education, I gradually discovered a genuine passion for the subject. What truly defined my journey, however, was my love for teaching, mentoring, and helping students achieve their dreams. Every milestone, challenge, and success has shaped the person I am today. This journey is captured through the stories, moments, and memories that follow.
2012: The Dream Begins
Joined Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna
The journey started with a dream of becoming a lawyer. Joining CNLU not only gave me a legal education but also exposed me to students from across the country, laying the foundation for my passion for mentoring aspiring law students.
2013: CLAT FOCUS Was Born
While still pursuing my law degree, I started CLAT FOCUS Tutorials with nothing more than a Facebook page, a website, and a mission—to provide affordable, quality CLAT preparation to every deserving student.
Soon afterwards, I opened my first offline centre in Kankarbagh, Patna, where personal mentorship became the core philosophy of the institute.
2014–2016: Giving Back to Society
Education should never be limited by financial constraints. During these years, I provided free CLAT coaching and free CLAT application forms (worth ₹4,000 each) to 25 deserving students, helping them pursue their dream of studying law.
2016: First Expansion
With growing trust among students, CLAT FOCUS expanded by opening its second offline centre at Boring Road, Patna, allowing us to mentor even more CLAT aspirants.
2017: Law Graduate & Full-Time Educator
Graduated from Chanakya National Law University, Patna.
Instead of pursuing conventional legal practice, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life—to dedicate myself completely to mentoring CLAT aspirants and building CLAT FOCUS into one of Bihar's leading law entrance coaching institutes.
2017–2019: Building Bihar's Leading CLAT Institute
These were the defining years of CLAT FOCUS.
The institute expanded to three company-owned offline centres, serving thousands of students through classroom programs, online courses, and test series. CLAT FOCUS became one of Bihar's most trusted names in CLAT preparation.
2017: A New Beginning
After graduating from Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, I made one of the most important decisions of my life—to pursue my passion for teaching and mentoring full-time. CLAT FOCUS transitioned from a student-led initiative into a professionally managed institute with a clear vision of transforming legal education in Bihar.
As the number of students grew, so did our commitment to providing a world-class learning experience. Kankarbagh Centre underwent major infrastructure upgrades, creating modern classrooms and a more student-centric environment.

2018: Raising the Bar
Growth brought new responsibilities, and we responded by completely revamping our Boring Road Centre. Every aspect of the centre was redesigned—from classrooms and interiors to student facilities—to create a vibrant, technology-enabled, and student-friendly learning environment. It was more than just a renovation; it was a commitment to delivering an educational experience that matched the aspirations of every CLAT aspirant.
Recognition & Impact
The institute's commitment to quality education and student success earned widespread appreciation. Over the years, CLAT FOCUS and I were honoured with numerous awards, recognitions, and media coverage, reflecting the trust placed in us by students, parents, and the education community. Every recognition served as a reminder that our greatest achievement was helping students realise their dream of studying law.

2019: Building the Foundation for the Future
With a vision that extended far beyond a single city, we established our Corporate Office and Flagship Centre in Patna. This wasn't just a new office—it marked the beginning of a larger mission to build one of Eastern India's most trusted CLAT preparation networks. Armed with a clear roadmap, we laid the foundation for rapid expansion across Bihar and Jharkhand, focusing on delivering quality legal education to students in every major city.
2020: The Pandemic Challenge
Like many educational institutions, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges. Offline classes stopped, digital adoption became essential, and the business faced one of its toughest phases.
Yet, this period also strengthened my belief that resilience and adaptability are the keys to long-term success.
2021: New Milestones
Published my first CLAT preparation book:
"Passage-Based Questions for CLAT" with Lawmann's Publications. Followed by a few more.
In the same year, CLAT FOCUS expanded further with the opening of its fourth company-owned centre in Gaya, Bihar.
2021: 4th COCO Centre & more
Gaya COCO Centre: 4th COCO, but 5th overall.
We started with nothing; now the 4th Centre, and interestingly, all profitable till we operated it all.
This Centre was part of our Rapid expansion cum revival plan after the COVID-19 pandemic.
2022
Serving Through Education
Partnered with the Government of Jharkhand to train 100 underprivileged students from Chatra District for CLAT.
This project reaffirmed my belief that quality mentorship can transform lives regardless of background.
2023: Closing One Chapter.
Beginning Another.
After building CLAT FOCUS over nearly a decade, I made the difficult decision to close the brand I had nurtured from scratch.
I joined Toprankers, where I continue the same mission—mentoring CLAT aspirants, driving educational excellence, and helping thousands of students achieve their dream of studying law.
Sometimes, growth means having the courage to begin again.
2024–Present
Continuing the Mission
Today, I continue to mentor thousands of CLAT and AILET aspirants through LegalEdge by Toprankers, author books, conduct workshops across India, and work towards making quality legal education accessible to every student.
The journey continues—with the same passion, stronger experience, and an even bigger vision.
